Plan Ahead With KNOW-vember

What is KNOW-vember at Curvebreakers?

Some of the most popular ACT and SAT exams for students take place between February and April. Classes for these exams will start at least 4-8 weeks before the test date, which means you may need to register before the holiday break. Students looking to do private tutoring often put in 2-3 months of weekly sessions before their first exam, also starting them before the new year.

And speaking of the holidays, December is a busy month. There are school concerts, holiday events, and the holiday break leading into the new year. It’s understandable that our minds aren’t focused on test prep!

All of this makes November the perfect month to put in place a plan for how and when to prepare for these exams.

By the end of KNOW-vember, you should:

  • KNOW if you’re preparing for the SAT or ACT
  • KNOW the date(s) of your upcoming exam(s)
  • KNOW how you’re going to prepare: (self-studying, a class, tutoring or a combination of these methods)
  • KNOW what your options are after taking your first test
